What is RepairYachts?

RepairYachts is a free directory of boat repair shops, marinas, boatyards, and other marine service providers across the United States. We help boat owners find local repair help and let shop owners manage their business listings.

How do I find a yacht repair shop near me?

Use the search box in the header to look up a state, city, or specific shop. You can also browse by state from the home page or browse by service type at /services.

Are listings on RepairYachts verified?

Listings sourced from public data are marked "Unverified." Once a shop owner claims their listing, it gets a "Verified" badge and the owner can update contact info, hours, services, and add photos.

How do I claim my business listing?

Find your shop on the site, click 'Claim this listing,' fill out the short form, and we'll verify ownership and activate your account. Email hovboard@gmail.com if you have trouble locating your listing.

Where does the listing data come from?

Initial data is sourced from OpenStreetMap contributors under the Open Database License (ODbL). Shop owners can claim and improve their own listings.

I see incorrect information on a listing. How do I get it fixed?

If you're the shop owner, claim your listing to update it directly. If you're a customer reporting a problem (closed business, wrong phone number, etc.), email hovboard@gmail.com with the listing URL and what's wrong.

How can I advertise on RepairYachts?

We offer sponsored placement at the top of city and state pages. Sponsorships are currently invite-only — email hovboard@gmail.com with your shop name, location, and target regions.

Do you offer reviews and ratings?

Reviews are coming in a future release alongside the user-account system. For now, we focus on directory listings and contact info; once reviews launch, only verified users can submit and we'll moderate to prevent abuse.

Is RepairYachts free for boat owners?

Yes. The directory is free to use, no account required for browsing.

Is RepairYachts free for shop owners?

Claiming a listing and managing your basic profile is free forever. Sponsored placement and premium features are paid — see the Advertise page for details.
